About me
Hi, I'm Rev.
I'm Corran O'Donnell — a self-taught developer and designer, born and raised in Scotland. I build websites, Discord bots, game mods and software, and I've been creating on a computer since I was ten.
My story
Why “REV”? I'm a car enthusiast through and through. In 2006 my love of revving engines earned me the nickname RevBoy, which became RevGamer in 2020 — and to most people I'm simply Rev. So when it came to naming my brand, it could only be REV Creative Developer.
Computers have always been a place where I could learn, create and express myself — and design and code became the way I bring ideas to life.
My interest came and went over the years, but in 2020 it came back for good. Since then I've gone from writing my first Discord bot to building connected systems: websites, bots and desktop software that all work together.
Today I'm one of the developers for the 505th Expeditionary Force, a growing Halo-themed Arma 3 community — proving that self-taught can deliver professional results.

First websites
At 15–16 I started building HTML websites alongside my dad. My first taste of code.

A lifelong car enthusiast, I earned the nickname RevBoy for my habit of revving the engine every chance I got.

Adobe Creative Suite
Upgrading to Adobe Creative Suite opened up Illustrator, After Effects and Premiere Pro — vectors, motion graphics and video editing.

RevGamer & Discord.js
Stuck at home during lockdown, gaming and talking cars online, RevBoy became RevGamer. I also picked up JavaScript and Discord.js, and building bots became a serious hobby.
Today
AI as my teacher
With ChatGPT and Claude as patient, always-available teachers, my skills have grown faster than school or college ever managed.
